Hello everyone!
I apologize that it has taken me so long to post anything on my blog.  Things have been going great here.  I am slowly getting better at communicating in Creole.  My girls are very helpful with the language learning process.  I am sharing a room with 6 teenage girls here at the orphanage.  We have been having a great time getting to know each other.  We have fun being silly together and laughing about it. 
One of my goals while I am here is to be a role model for these 6 young women.  Even though they are very self-sufficient, I want to be someone that can be a source of encouragement for them.  I would appreciate prayers for the continuing development of strong relationships with these girls.  Once my creole gets a bit better, I would love to do some bible study with them focusing of how precious they are to their Heavenly Father.

While my girls are at school during the week, I turn my attention to my own personal time of prayer and reflection.  Life runs a bit slower in Haiti and this has been a huge blessing for me when it comes to my relationship with God.  I have lots of time to come before him in worship and prayer.

Thank you so much for those of you that have been praying for me faithfully.  I appreciate you so much.
